The Space Academy Foundation, a non profit organization devoted to promote science and technology, and the Commission Internationale pour l'Exploration Scientifique de la Mèr Mèditerranée ( CIESM), in cooperation with the Italian Academy of Science ( Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei) the world oldest academy of sciences, and OGS (Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale) are organizing a workshop dealing with the oceanography of the Mediterranean Sea.

The workshop will be held in Rome (Italy) between 7th and 9th of November 2011 in the premises of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, Via della Lungara 10. For details on the scientific objectives of the workshop please see the attached scientific abstract
