Meteorological data

A ship Meteo system is installed on the ferry that operates on Trieste-Durres-Bari route. The measurement system supports an integrated GPS, which allows determining the exact position of the data.
The Meteorological Station is provided with sonic anemometer for wind direction and wind speed measurements (GILL Wind Observer II-Ultrasonic Anemometer), Rotronic MP100 thermo hygrometer to record also temperature and relative humidity and TP-800 barometer to record atmospheric pressure data.

The system is provided with a GPS (GARMIN synergy) and with a communication system (modem GLOBASTAR) that permit to download the data from a remote position.
